No, but in the street it's pretty easy to find. It happens to me regularly to find right in front!
No. You have to wait in line. It is worth it tho! It starts getting crowded at about 10am
No, the restaurant is close on Mondays and Tuesdays.
I believe so.
Yes changing table in the toilet. You have to go to the first cabin (the largest one). There is a big walk between the restaurant and its terrace.
No reservations on weekends, but if you arrive before 10am it is better with less waiting.
A wonderful place to grab brunch. Decadent brunch options at reasonable prices for what you get. Presentation of all the meals we saw here were gorgeous. Seriously worth checking out if you need a nice brunch spot.
Amazing breakfast place. They have incredible crispy French toasts. The one caveat about a good brunch place is that it gets very busy and you’ll have to wait to get a table. We waited more than 30 minutes.
Great atmosphere, friendly staff INCREDIBLE menu.It was so hard to decide what to eat, but from our experience seems like all items are sure to delight.I had the duck confit poached eggs with a side french toast. Every single bite was perfect.I thought the sweet potato might make it less savoury than I like but it added the perfect balance.
I've eaten here enough times to know it's a good brunch place. Nice plating and friendly service. Whenever I encountered something wrong (only happened twice) with the dishes brought out, the workers immediately correct it. The last time I was there, they brought out rotten (literally you see the mold) fruits with my friend's dish. Of course, that was corrected right away. No one knew how it was okay-ed to be brought out but since that was such an odd experience, the workers provided us with an on-the-house dessert. very nice of them to do so. They don't take reservations so do come early because there's always a lineup. Their french toast is a must!
Make sure you come early! We came shortly after they opened and were able to get a table in 5 minutes but I could see the line after us probably took 1 hour to get through. Food is ok, they make everything looked appetizing but the bagel I had was a little too thick than what I wanted. They put deep fried avocado in my bagel but that just added too much grease... Funny how their little tiny salad was my favorite in the whole meal. High prices as well.
Love this place for breakfast and brunch, it is just hard to get in unless you are there before 9am. The wait could be really long if you are not an early bird...A very nice selection on the menu and the taste is excellent. I would go there often if the wait is not so bad especially on weekends. It is worth the detour if you are in Montreal!
One of the best brunch place I tried so far. Loved the ambience and of course the food! It was worth waiting in line for. We were a group of 6 friends. I ordered 'Rural Poached Egg" and it was rich in flavor and very well presented. Loved it. French toast is a must for people with sweet tooth. Everything else also on the table tasted great. It's a bit pricey but justified for the quality. Highly recommended..
The hour wait outside was well worth the high quality, locally-sourced food. This place is pricey but if you live in montreal, you should have their brunch at least once. They also have an excellent selection of hot sauces you should take advantage of.
Amazing brunch!Things to know: The place is packed during the weekend. Expect to wait 40 min to 1 hour to be seated if you arrive at 9am or later. Then expect 40 min to 1 hour again to order and receive your food. After that, you need to wait to pay if it's busy. So if you have around 2 hours and 30 minutes you'll eat an amazing brunch with good portions size, and lot of different choices unlike a classical brunch.Tips for people driving, during the week end, if you arrive early you should be able to find a place to park on saint Catherine East and it is free until 1pm.
The best brunch of my life - no comparison! The French toast was unreal! So delicious! The meal also with 2 eggs, a generous amount of bacon, sausage, and (super, super good) ham! As well as fruits, a mini smoothie, potatoes, beans and bread. It was a ridiculous amount of food, but definitely one of the meal highlights of our trip!We got there around 10am to no line, but there was definitely one out the door by the time we left.
This is a great place! The food is nice. They have the best French Toasts in town (second picture). The fruits are fresh and the scrambled eggs are not dry. The place is clean and people are friendly. They do not have a parking lot, however there’s paid parking in the street. I would highly recommend this place to anyone!
Unfortunately this restaurant has no respect for their customers' time. I understand when restaurants have a first come first serve policy. However, it is unacceptable to take reservations and make people wait 45+ minutes past their reservation time for a table. It's unfortunate because the staff is very polite, but unfortunately making guests travel to a certain part of town thinking they have a reservation and then making them wait that long, is not ok.
Le Passé Composé was/is absolutely delicious. The food is obviously very well thought out and sourced. Every bite was a dream. I had the Past Perfect and my wife has the Le Passe compose breakfast both were beautiful and delicious. I would absolutely recommended and eat here again. As a matter of fact I sent out recommendations during my meal and am writing this review in the restaurant.
It was a little expensive but it was definitely worth it! The food was great! If you get there before 10am, the line is relatively short. Line up really picks up after 10h30. Their dishes are very creative and super yummy! I would really recommend Le Passé Composé if you have the time.
The menu sounds a bit too sophisticated but they definitely know what they are serving. Great place, nice waiters, and portions are more than enough. Budget is more on the higher end, but you get what you pay for.
